This book was created following a Still I Rise storytelling session with newcomer children in Northern Ireland, who wanted children arriving in their new home to feel welcome, as soon as they arrive. Kitabna - Our Book CIC then developed this story for children everywhere.

So far the story has been translated from English into Arabic, Pashto and Ukrainian to reflect the recent movements of refugee and asylum seekers to the UK since our storytelling session in late 2021. As conflict and disaster affect people worldwide, Kitabna hopes to support newcomer children and their families with resources like this. Please click on the books below to read our books online for free.
